The goal of the MASDIMA Project is to build a Multi-Agent System for Disruption Management, easily configurable (adaptable) to several operational control center domains. The goal of an operational control center is to monitor the execution of a plan (operation) and solve any unexpected problem (disruptions) trying to return, as soon as possible and with the minimum costs, to the original plan or to a plan very similar to the original. We can find operational control centers in several business domains: airline operational control, air traffic control, spacecraft mission control, production control and so on.
MASDIMA will be a software that will allow to build multi-agent systems specific to each operational control center domain, allowing to monitor the operation and to solve the unexpected problems, according to specificities/configurations/preferences of each domain. MASDIMA will include the following modules:

One of the main features of this system is the learning capabilities. We hope that MASDIMA will be able to apply the knowledge gather from the learning module in solving similar problems faster, and in improving future plans making the future plans more robust (by avoiding potential problems).
